Counselling by Luke Addinsall at The Centre of Change

Over the past 23 years, Luke Addinsall has been supporting people across the country to improve their relationships and to understand how they can transform their lives for the better.

There’s a quote often referred to by Luke and his colleagues - “there are only two things I can’t stand: change, and the way things are.” Inspired by the inevitability of change and the desire to help people transform their relationship to it, in 2023 Luke decided to expand his practice and create The Centre of Change, a progressive initiative that seeks to shift our thinking about how we experience change, by encouraging us to be at The Centre of our own Change

This initiative involves individual and group therapy options, as well as training and consultation for services and sectors interested in taking the next steps toward tangible change where it is needed. The approach draws on various therapeutic modalities (including CBT, ACT and EMDR), Behaviour Change research, motivational interviewing techniques and an invitational approach, all designed to create a potent combination for Change.

Crucially, the model is designed to be easily understood so that people can re-apply it to their own lives.
